• It is my understanding that a version license allows installation and use of both the 64-bit and 32-bit builds of that version installed on the same computer. I recall doing that back when the 64-bit versions were first released 'just in case' there were differences between the behavior of the 32- and 64-bit builds.

  I'm also pretty sure that a license for a given version permits use of earlier versions. So, if your company purchases a V17 license, you could keep your V16 installation around for a compatibility check while using V17 as your primary platform. Just verify that the 'save as type' format is okay with both releases; shouldn't be an issue between 16 and 17.

I have a question regarding to this topic.
I get the error message as stated in the title, but there is no error, so this message should not be displayed.

I start BricsCAD using a /P profile.arg file where I define the MAIN.cui file.
Here is how it looks like in my .arg file:

I have that .cui file placed in %appdata% and BricsCAD do load this menu BUT it still displays the error message.
I click OK on the error message and I can see that my .cui is loaded correctly despite the message.

I test that by typing in MENUNAME and it gives back the correct path and .cui.

What am I doing wrong? How can I avoid that message box? Is it somewhere in the registry that tells BricsCAD where to look for the file or?
